Wimbledon in The Garden A fortnight of live match screenings, seasonal garden drinks and Wimbledon-themed Afternoon Tea in the heart of literary London

Wimbledon in The Garden from 29th June to 12th July, transforming its 1,000-square-metre private garden and Orangery into an elegant setting for daily match screenings, seasonal drinks and a limited-edition Wimbledon Afternoon Tea.

Deckchairs will be spread across the garden, giving guests plenty of space to sit back, stand and enjoy the matches at their own pace. A seasonal drinks menu will run alongside the screenings, with three specials available throughout the fortnight: the Gin and Deuce, a serve of Bombay Sapphire with pomelo and pink pepper tonic (£18); the Second Serve, combining Pentire Adrift with citrus, soda and melon (£14); and the Strawberries and Cream Frosé (£18), a nod to the sport’s great tradition.

For those looking to make an afternoon of it, a limited number of hampers will be available daily at £75, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Each hamper includes half a bottle of Lanson Champagne, strawberries and cream, a sausage roll or cheese and onion quiche, and chocolates from small-batch British brand Pump Street.

Inside the Orangery, the hotel’s light-filled, garden-facing dining space, a Wimbledon-themed Afternoon Tea will be served throughout the fortnight. The menu puts a seasonal spin on The Zetter Bloomsbury’s signature offering, with highlights including a Strawberry and Cream Entremet and an Eton Mess Cup, alongside a selection of finger sandwiches, delicate pastries and freshly baked scones with traditional accompaniments. A curated tea selection from Rare Tea Company completes the experience, with the option to elevate the occasion with a glass of Champagne from Lanson, one of Champagne’s oldest houses, celebrated for its elegant, fresh style.

Bookings for the Wimbledon Afternoon Tea are now open via this link.
