Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30pm to 10:30pm, we invite you to slip into something a touch more sophisticated. Whether it’s a post-office wind-down or a spontaneous nightcap with friends, the bar becomes a place where conversation flows as smoothly as the martinis.

During Cocktail Hour, enjoy a curated trio of timeless favourites – New Cosmos, Vespers and Negronis all at £10, alongside House Lager at £5. It’s a classic line-up designed for those who appreciate cocktails with pedigree.

The Vesper: A Cocktail With a Story

Few drinks carry quite the same aura as the Vesper. The cocktail was famously introduced to the world by James Bond in Casino Royale by Ian Fleming. In the novel, Bond orders a strikingly precise martini variation with gin, vodka and a touch of aromatised wine, shaken and served ice-cold.

The drink was named after Vesper Lynd, the enigmatic character who captured Bond’s attention in the story. Fittingly, the cocktail itself is bold, elegant and unmistakably memorable. Over the decades, the Vesper has become something of a symbol of British cocktail culture: refined, confident, and just a little daring.

At The Zetter, we believe midweek deserves its own rituals. Our Classic Cocktail Hour is intentionally intimate, with tables of up to four guests, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and convivial.
